Over the years our hummingbird community has grown, but this is the first time we have seen a rufous.

We spent a few days of Oregon’s Spring Break at a house in Suncadia. It was peaceful to go during the off-season and have the seating near the lodge bar almost to ourselves. Our ferocious yellow lab had our backs in case there were any sneak attacks.

I asked Siri, “How long is a timeout in woman’s college basketball?” I thought it was 1 minute, but wasn’t sure since the last time I watched a game it was 6 v 6. She gave me the latest scores. Ugh. Petey on my Apple Watch nailed it though. Go Petey and go Iowa!
